Tutorium UK tutor network tool

Know a tutor learners would trust? Invite them to Tutorium.

Tutorium grows best through thoughtful introductions from people who already recognise good teaching.

Use the browser-based invitation builder to create a message without submitting the tutor's email, phone number or verification documents. A referral is only an invitation: the tutor applies independently and Tutorium reviews evidence before any public listing.

How to make a thoughtful referral

  • Add only a first name or subject context if it helps the invitation feel relevant.
  • Copy the message or use your device share sheet, email draft or WhatsApp draft.
  • Let the tutor decide whether Tutorium is a fit; do not send private contact or certificate details through the tool.

What happens after an invitation?

The tutor can preview a learner-facing profile, create an adult tutor account and complete the Tutor Agreement. Tutorium reviews the application, DBS evidence and qualification certificates before a profile can be acknowledged and confirmed for public listing.

The browser tool does not send or store the invitation. A referral is not an approval, a booking or a promise of work.

Common questions

Does Tutorium store the referral message?

No. The message is generated in your browser. Do not put private phone numbers, email addresses, DBS numbers or certificate details into it.

Can I invite a tutor by email or WhatsApp?

Yes. Copy the message, use the browser share sheet or open a pre-filled email or WhatsApp draft. You choose whether and where to send it.

Does a referral approve a tutor?

No. The tutor applies independently and must pass Tutorium's approval review before a public profile is published.
